Introduction to the Lab
Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is one of the NCI designated comprehensive cancer centers, located in Tampa Florida, USA. Our lab studies various hematological malignancies. Our research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of hematological cancer development, progression, and resistance to existing treatments, and developing new targeted therapies based on the discovered mechanisms. We use a variety of methods, such as clinical data, in vitro experiments, genetically engineered mice, and patient samples, to verify hypotheses, and we aim to conduct early phase clinical trials based on new discoveries.
