The Research Group Occupational and Organizational Psychology & Professional Learning (O2L) explores the dynamic between individuals and their employment, emphasizing sustainable employment and quality of work. O2L's research spans various topics, including employability, job insecurity, burnout, conflict mediation, leadership, and team learning. Additionally, O2L is committed to delivering innovative education to both bachelor's and master's students.

Project

Employability is a priority on both research and policy agendas, focusing on individuals in precarious employment forms (e.g., temporary, part-time) or those transitioning between employment and unemployment, and those distanced from the labor market. Key questions address opportunities for employability development and the constraints faced. This PhD project centers on employability and its boundaries within specific groups, offering significant autonomy under Prof. Nele De Cuyper's supervision. Additionally, the role involves supporting educational activities (e.g., coaching, evaluation, administration).

Profile

  • Master's degree in psychology, educational sciences, business sciences, social sciences, or related fields with outstanding academic results.
  • Strong interest in work, employment, and labor market topics.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Passion for reading, writing, and disseminating research findings to scientific and broader audiences.
  • Independent with excellent time management skills.
