in the “Josef Ressel Centre for Security Analysis of IoT Devices” At the Josef Ressel Center for Security Analysis of IoT Devices, we research the security of Internet of Things devices, thus laying the groundwork for an automated testing process for the first time. As a research assistant, you will support us in developing and automating security analyses.
Your duties
Participation in an applied research project at the intersection of the Internet of Things and IT security
Security analysis of various IoT devices
Identification of common security criteria across multiple devices
Automation of security analyses
Writing scientific publications and presenting the results at international conferences
If the prerequisites are met, we support your doctoral project in the field of IoT security
Your profile
Master’s degree, diploma, or PhD in computer science or a related discipline
In-depth knowledge in at least one of the areas of IT security, Internet of Things, hardware, or software
Technical knowledge of modern security mechanisms is an advantage
Excellent English skills and international orientation
High motivation to pursue a PhD if suitably qualified

Depending on qualifications and experience, we offer a total annual gross salary of €50,100 (for 40h/Week) or monthly €3,578.50
